You can get a full refund on your insurance with proof that your visa was denied. If no proof of denial is provided, The insurance company will charge a cancellation fee of up to $250.

Super Visa Insurance Requirements

To apply for a Super Visa, one of the official requirements is private Canadian medical coverage. The applicant must provide proof of Super Visa insurance along with other necessary documents. The insurance should be valid for one year from the application submission to IRCC, covering emergency medical expenses, hospitalization, and repatriation. It must have a minimum coverage of CAD 100,000 and be valid for each entry to Canada, readily available for review when requested by the immigration officer. The Super Visa insurance must be obtained from Canadian insurance providers.
